Our Projects

Kenmore Main Level Reimagined

These clients came to us online to renovate their homes. The biggest goal was to open up the floor plan, support the roof to do so, and create a larger kitchen that allows the eye to flow across the living spaces. The lower floor stairs separated the old galley kitchen from the rest of the house. Our design team came up with this layout and achieved our client’s goal. Hope you enjoy it!

Pike Cottage Glowup

This Pike Cottage refresh was such a satisfying renovation project. See what we did…

North Beacon Hill Complete Remodel

As real estate agents with Get Happy at Home, we helped our client purchase this home in North Beacon Hill. Our client decided to do a complete remodel on the home.

Our client bought the house for $750,000. While they remodeled the entire house, one area of the home we worked a lot on was the basement, which they spent $140,000 remodeling. Based on comparable sold homes in the area, we estimate the basement remodel alone added $300k - $350k to the home’s value. Time will tell!

Bellevue Mid Century Refreshed and Sold

These clients purchased this house in 1983 and raised two boys in the home. The last time they renovated was in 1992. After retiring they decided to downsize and cash out this nest egg. Our real estate team Get Happy at Home was called because the client wanted to maximize the return on this home because she was now on a fixed income.

Meridian Tower Condo Complete Remodel

Our client came to modernize her 2002 condo in Meridian Tower. The home was pretty dated and she wanted to sell her condo in the next year, or two years. Our design guys went through and we did a little rearranging. We moved the washer and dryer from the kitchen to the primary bedroom closet. Then we installed the fridge, and pantry into the old washer and dryer closet. We removed a wall from the living area to help the space feel more open and large. The removed wall also accentuated the floor-to-ceiling windows. We finished the condo in agreeable materials so that when the owner sold it would have mass appeal. Check it out.

Madison Valley Townhouse Refresh

In October 2017, the Get Happy at Home Real Estate Team helped our clients purchase this home for $770,000. Happy at Home Contracting did $60,000 in work on this townhouse. In April 2022, the Get Happy at Home Real Estate Team sold the home for $1,061,000. (The neighboring unit (mostly original, good condition) had sold for $755,000 4 months earlier).

Queen Anne Basement Studs-Out Remodel

As real estate agents with Get Happy at Home, we helped our clients buy a fantastic home in Queen Anne. Our clients hired Happy at Home Contracting to completely remodel the unfinished basement for them.

Our clients spent $170k and added 1,100 square feet to the house in Queen Anne. Based on other comparable homes in the area, we estimate this remodel and added square footage added around $500k to the home’s value.

North Capitol Hill Revival
